The aim behind this product was to design a device for epilepsy monitoring that patients like to wear and that does not stigmatise them. Therefore, Embrace is designed like a fashionable smartwatch, which tells the time at a touch of a finger and activates an alarm in critical situations. Additional information about the health of the wearer can be accessed via a smartphone. The ultra-thin casing is fashioned from robust, polished metal, and the wristband is made of either elegant leather or an elastic fabric.
