A traditional sewing technique was adopted for the design of the Embroidery Collection sofa to create an innovative approach in the furniture industry. Using a technique called smocking, the fabric of the backrest is crimped by parallel stitch lines. The resulting relief-like structure has a pleasant feel and creates a detailed impression that contrasts with the reduced form and smooth leather interior. In combination with the light wooden legs, the sofa conveys a modern look with individual details.
