Endoscopic Ultrasound System

In conjunction with an endoscope inserted into the oesophagus, the Endoscopic Ultrasound System imaging device is used to examine the respiratory tract, gastrointestinal tract and other nearby organs and tissues. An ultrasound probe at the tip of the endoscope creates images that are transmitted to the monitor in real time. In order to avoid peripheral distractions, the monitor has a narrow frame and covers the entire front of the device. The jury also particularly liked this design aspect: “The large screen allows for a focused working experience. The narrow and thus space-saving design of the ultrasound system is also remarkable.”
