A fresh perspective

When creating the EVO Lite+ drone, the design team took the approach of contrasting complex functionality with the simplest possible shape. This has resulted in a drone for professional users that optimally combines performance and mobility. The EVO Lite+ weighs 835 grams, which is in part due to the powerful battery that plugs into the housing at the back of the drone and provides 40 minutes of flying time. The drone’s arms are made from carbon fibre and are equipped with quiet, quick-release propellers that can rapidly be replaced without requiring any tools in the event of damage. To minimise collision risk from the outset, the EVO Lite+ uses a fisheye obstacle avoidance feature whose sensors cover a 150-degree field of vision. Bright LED lights on the drone’s undercarriage and the ends of the arms also ensure that the drone is easily visible in poor light conditions. In combination with automated flight modes and an aerodynamic design, the EVO Lite+ offers stable and wind-resistant flying properties that encourage users to control the drone with more confidence, speed and also safety. The nose of the EVO Lite+ is dominated by a large gimbal, required for steering the 1" CMOS image sensor. In combination with the specially developed smart moonlight algorithm and deep learning, the image sensor can record razor-sharp images even at night.

The EVO Lite+ drone combines stable and agile flying properties with smart technologies such as the moonlight algorithm and fisheye obstacle sensors, allowing professional pilots to conduct smooth drone flights even in adverse conditions. Minimalist in design, this drone is impressive thanks to a lightweight yet robust construction that makes it a reliable tool for aerial cinematography.
