These headphones are based on the idea of rendering music and audio information perceptible without having to use one’s hands or cover one’s ears. The objective of the innovative design is to develop a durable device to be worn around the neck, with a fit that adjusts to different users. Headphones with open earplugs signify one variant, allowing exterior sounds in while listening to music.

Statement by the Jury

The headphones present the interesting approach of communicating with a multifunctional device in a natural way, while at the same time being able to perceive the immediate environment.
