The Lexon Flip thus eliminates the annoyance of fumbling for the “off” button in the dark. Fascinatingly, the time display also flips over when turning the alarm clock around, so that the time is displayed in correct orientation. The alarm clock showcases a compact, balanced design that rests well in the hand. Also pleasing to the touch are the touch-sensitive snooze and light functions that are intuitively activated by a soft swiping movement of the hand. The Flip is made of ABS plastic and available in a range of vivid colours. Featuring a rubberised finish, the alarm clock has an overall soft appearance and feel; it is easy to grasp and turn around even for users who are half asleep. Its design incorporates an entirely novel idea in terms of user functionality – to turn the alarm off, one simply flips it over, while the time display remains perfectly readable.
