The Flow app was born out of the pandemic-related need to work from home. It is like a shared piece of digital paper which people can edit simultaneously from anywhere in the world. The tools, like pencils, pens, markers and rulers look realistic and feel natural in a similar way as their analogue counterparts do by reacting on how the finger or a stylus pen is held and moved across the touchscreen. Users can also create their own set of tools, such as a virtual pencil case, to avoid having to interrupt their work to adjust the colours, sizes and styles. The elements of the interface can be hidden so that the blank digital page looks even more similar to a real piece of paper.
