Kazakhstan is a region where mothers are traditionally expected to stay at home. Yet, according to the statistics, women operate 41 per cent of small and medium-sized companies. The local ForteBank encourages female businesses with support programmes. This promotional campaign started a week before International Women’s Day by spraying banknotes which circulated in their business with a specially created perfume called ForteFemme. Female entrepreneurs received the exquisitely designed perfume set which was supposed to encourage them to take part in the campaign. On TV and the radio, famous female entrepreneurs revealed what the scent stands for: respect, success and confidence in female entrepreneurship.
