These rings are computer-designed and produced by laser sintering in platinum or gold, leading to a futuristic appearance. Deliberately left without further treatment, the rings have a rough surface, which is characteristic of the production process. The ring-in-ring construction, in which, for example, a diamond-studded ring moves freely within its outer frame, consists of one piece. The three-dimensional, open structure ensures stability, while causing a varied interplay of light and shadow.
