The Frametable Outdoor was created with the intention of making a popular piece of furniture from the Alias collection suitable for outdoor use. Its design concept is based on the product idea of reducing the elements that make up a traditional table. Thus, the frame was eliminated and the table legs were fastened to a self-supporting aluminium honeycomb-structure top plate. This design has been made possible by the development of a new system of flexible plates made of extruded aluminium. Thanks to this materiality, the table is reliably weather-resistant without compromising its characteristic aesthetics. The tabletop consists of five extruded aluminium slats that are strikingly thin and have a wide cross-section to conceal the attachment to the table legs. The narrow gaps between the spaced slats allow water to drain away evenly. Visually contributing to the minimalist overall appearance, the discreetly designed supporting structure made of die-cast aluminium offers a high load-bearing capacity. The table is available in lengths of 190, 240 and 295 cm, as well as with a matt lacquer finish in four attractive colours. The durable furniture conveys a formal lightness and is suitable for both private and public areas.

As a well-thought-out product update, the Frametable Outdoor fascinates in all aspects of its design. With its delicate and precise contours, its elegant appearance stands out in a product world that is often dominated by voluminous furniture creations. The filigree-looking table nevertheless appears stable and projects an emotionally appealing overall image. Tailor-made for outdoor use, it is easy to clean.
