Georg Dobler – Students

This publication presents works created by jewellery designers of the Hildesheimer Hochschule für Angewandte Wissenschaft und Kunst (HAWK University of Applied Sciences and Arts). The book itself gives the impression of a jewellery box which closes by suction. The noble silver edging, which is partially used, reflects the principle of jewellery design: raw materials are refined and thereby modified, upgraded, charged with emotion. The design is also characterised by thread-sewn pages and an inviting lilac flyleaf. The typeface of the bilingual book generates an exciting contrast to the illustrations.
