German Pavilion – Expo Milano 2015
Entitled “Fields of Ideas”, the concept of the German Pavilion at Expo Milano 2015 is oriented to the leitmotif “Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life”. The pavilion presents Germany as a vibrant, fertile “landscape” filled with ideas about future human nutrition. It closely interlinks the architecture and the exhibition to vividly illustrate to visitors how important dealing respectfully with nature is to the ongoing food supply. The pavilion, in the form of a gently rising landscape, recalls Germany’s field and meadow landscapes.
