The name of the Glacé product range derives from the French word for ice and is a reference to the transparency of these food containers. Both the differently sized containers and the lids are made of glass so that food and provisions can be stored without the use of plastic. The circumferential hinge of the lid is made of silicone, thus keeping the use of plastic to a minimum whilst also preventing damage to the glass rims.
