“Guinness MicroDraught 2.0 defines the next generation of dispense systems. It is significantly more cost-effective than its predecessor, requiring 60 percent fewer components and eliminating complex electromechanics,” said the judges. Dispense performance has also been improved, requiring 30 percent less power. “Pull + pour” valve technology uses pulsed ultrasonics for precision release of nitrogen bubbles. “Crisp lines contrast with soft, flowing forms to create a confident appearance combined with a simple, elegant, icon-driven user interface designed for global markets,” the jury commented regarding the design.
