HanGwa

This packaging design was created for HanGwa, a Korean traditional dessert made of nuts and fruits with honey, sugar and other ingredients. Since it is often purchased as a present, the design is focused on a high-quality appearance and the visualisation of Korean tradition. The logo design is inspired by Dasik, which is one specific way of distinguishing HanGwa from many. A classy, refined image is achieved by applying gold and silver leaf coating to each label, as well as using a rare form of old Korean Hangeul writing.
