Have Fun in Kinmen

The poster series presents seasonal features of Kinmen, an offshore island located near the People’s Republic of China, but belonging to Taiwan. The illustrations depict various attractions for visitors, such as scenic views, historic buildings and cultural landmarks. One poster also includes a tank, indicating that, after decades of military tension during the Cold War, old military vehicles, bunkers and shells still litter the island. Through a casual mix of patterns and recognisable motifs, the graphic concept arouses curiosity about the local culture and conveys a vibrant atmosphere.
