The anniversary packaging of the Heinzelmann radio was designed to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the manufacturer, Grundig, and refers to this new interpretation of the classic product. The monochrome retro-style drawing of the product reflects the past and accentuates the recyclable material of the box. The product’s story, which is written on the packaging, establishes an emotional bond with the user. After unpacking, the packaging can be turned into a playhouse for children and thus conveys the message of sustainability.

Statement by the Jury

With its retro-style design, the Heinzelmann radio packaging convincingly conveys the manufacturer’s anniversary. Its materials and second life as a playhouse are additional sophisticated aspects.
