Highlight City Centre

This installation in the city centre of Karlsruhe, Germany, transforms public space into a stage. At the heart of the installation is a lamp that is a 10:1 scale model of a classic product from the region, aiming to stimulate dialogue with the venue. Materialised in adhesive film and chalk spray, the installation spotlight captivates the viewer. Several “table lights” draw attention to urban development issues and will travel through the city centre for two years to “highlight Karlsruhe’s future”. They are also the starting point of a campaign in which passers-by can share their impressions using the hashtag #spotonka on social media channels.
