At just 8.4 cm tall, the HomePod mini delivers immersive, room-filling sound. It also serves as a Siri station – and as such can be used for controlling smart household appliances – and as an intercom for communication within the home. The spherical loudspeaker is wrapped in a seamless mesh fabric made of recycled material that is virtually transparent to the sound passing through it. A backlit touch surface on the top provides quick control. The HomePod mini works effortlessly with other Apple devices.

Statement by the Jury

The HomePod mini makes an impression with its elegant spherical shape as well as the backlighting on the surface. In addition to detailed sound, it offers complex features for a smart home.
