Horror Ray

The Horror Ray torch is a promotional souvenir for a summer camp. With the help of the well-conceived packaging, the design manages to give this simple utility item a significant value. It resorts to horror stories and the special ritual of telling them. An exciting story, which appeals in particular to young campers, is printed on the back of each of the three different black-and-white packages. Illustrations of characters featured in the stories are placed on the front and back of the packaging, creating an eerie flair.
