The HP Z 3D camera is a high-performance 3D scanner with minimalist design that is simply attached to the upper edge of a monitor. It allows a digital artist to scan an object or texture and to transfer it into 3D applications. The hands holding the object are automatically removed from the image. The device can also be used as a 2D camera, for instance during video conferences or when scanning documents.
