HWAYO
The brand identity of HWAYO is a contemporary interpretation of the 700-year-old Korean liquor tradition. Its packaging design is based on the form language of the cylindrical willowware bottle, which was used as a liquor container in the twelfth century. The contour of the bottle is inspired by a wave, while the implementation also refers to the aesthetics of handcrafted ceramics. A high-contrast colour concept, including a white semi-transparent version, makes product selection easier. For protection, the bottles are packaged inside cardboard boxes.
