The hull of the Hylas 57 is designed to offer speed and comfort offshore. The solid-lead fin keel reduces side slip while stiffening the hull to accommodate the large 152 sqm sail area. Sail handling has also been optimised. The cabin is constructed of FRP composite using isophthalic gelcoat to achieve a light weight and stability.
