The Blackmagic HyperDeck Shuttle HD is a recorder and player for live events. It was developed for desktop use and can be operated with one hand via the front panel. The slanted surface allows the user’s hand to rest comfortably on the search dial, and the control buttons are positioned directly under the fingertips. The controller’s natural inertia ensures comfortable operation, and the rubberised surface provides grip. “In the design of the HyperDeck Shuttle HD, the focus was on the user’s needs,” praised the jury. “All elements were consistently optimised for one purpose, namely fast one-handed operation.”
