Icare ic100

The Icare ic100 tonometer enables a quick and pain-free examination of intraocular pressure for the early detection of glaucoma. The instrument is based on a measuring procedure in which the cornea is briefly touched with a probe. Due to the ergonomic shape of the handle, ophthalmologists can freely choose their physical position in relation to the patient, be it standing up or sitting down. The LED screen and keys are positioned on the handpiece in such a way that the ophthalmologist can also keep an eye on the patient during the measurement process.

The design of the tonometer is characterised by its extremely flat shape and gentle contours, which make an important contribution to patients’ acceptance of the device.
