This intelligent rice cooker heats the rice with an iron pot heating technique and a novel, two-stage steam outlet technology. By this means, temperature and humidity, which influence the taste of the rice, can be well controlled, allowing the preparation of both soft rice and granular rice. The particular construction of the lid offers two alternatives for releasing the steam. By air outlet and regulation of the internal pressure, the boiling conditions and therefore the taste of the rice can be changed.
