The iPump is a comprehensive heat pump system consisting of indoor and outdoor units for heating, cooling and hot water supply. The outdoor unit displays a language of form inspired by modern architecture and can thus be perceived as part of a facade. Its design has also been adapted to the large U-shaped evaporator to minimise noise level. With its small footprint, it allows flexible positioning in many places and comparatively easy transportation as well. The iPump is available for brine/groundwater or air.
Statement by the Jury
The iPump picks up aspects of design elements that are usually found in outdoor areas. The device thus blends seamlessly into many different environments.
