The iVDR (Information Versatile Disk for Removable Usage) is a portable data storage medium using the cartridge standard. Its surface is fashioned from scratch-resistant stainless steel. The cartridge has an interchangeable labelling card on the front where the file name and additional information can be noted down. The host computer provides power to the SATA hard disk so that no additional AC adapter is required.
Statement by the Jury
The labelling card on the front side of the iVDR is simple but effective. In this way, the data storage medium can always be easily relabelled.
