Jang

Jang is a basic sauce in Korean cuisine and is typically made by fermenting beans. Common to all flavours is how they are non-meat based and prepared through natural fermentation. Thus, the main concept behind the packaging design is to reflect the natural and healthy quality of the sauces. In order to overcome unfamiliarity when launching the products in countries where Korean culture is foreign, the design focuses on creating a visual look that is striking, friendly and reliable. Images of the ingredients moreover help customers to visualise the different flavours.
