Inspired by traditional craftsmanship, a series of ceramic kitchen knives was developed to reflect the Japanese cultural heritage. The artisanal handle made of dark pakkawood with stainless steel trims is visually and haptically striking. Combined with a black, hand-sharpened ceramic blade, an overall impression is created which is reduced to the essential. The dense and smooth surface of the corrosion-free blade allows for precise cutting while the extreme hardness of the material ensures exceptional edge retention.
