The JBL Bar 5.1 soundbar system combines the performance of a surround-sound home cinema system with the aesthetics of a soundbar. It features an innovative magnetic docking mechanism that charges two battery-powered wireless speakers. When these speakers are detached, the soundbar with its 250 mm subwoofer turns into a fully fledged 5.1 system in an instant.

Statement by the Jury

The JBL Bar 5.1 impresses with its versatility. Depending on the requirements, the slim soundbar turns into a surroundsound system which can be effortlessly adapted to different room situations.
