Kangaroo Charger

With the increased use of smartphones and other wearable devices, we want to avoid the stress of running low on battery when we are outside. Current mobile chargers and power banks are bulky. They also need to be pre-charged on a daily basis. As such, the designers wanted to innovate on the portability and energy generation of charging devices, seamlessly integrating them into our mobile lifestyles. Kangaroo Charger is a pocket-type wearable charger made of a globular solar cell fabric (under development). This material provides the convenience of charging smartphones and other small wearable devices by just placing the device in the charging pocket. It is highly portable because it can be attached to clothes or bags, as well as any other favourable charging spots such as walls or curtains.
