KINAZO E1

The 3D-printed e-bike Kinazo E1 was developed with the aim of creating a bicycle which can be adapted directly to the size and geometry of the rider and can thus be fully customised. The motor and battery are integrated in the frame. The customisation is accomplished through the use of a special device which identifies the shape of the respective body, whereupon the frames can be printed with differences in size, wall thickness, structure or other specifications.

Statement by the Jury

The design of the e-bike Kinazo E1 uses state-of-the-art technology to produce the bicycle with a 3D printer – and thus adapt it to the individual cyclist.
