This TV spot announces the arrival of the newest addition to the Cologne Zoo, the giant anteater, by visualising the animal’s main pastime of “licking up ants”. It starts by showing an empty glass of Kölsch beer with an ant crawling around in it and a second ant that is on its way there. The meaning of the scene immediately becomes clear when the ants are licked up by the anteater. Employing simple means, this TV spot attracts the viewers’ attention and invites them to come to the zoo to see the anteater live.
