The designers of the Laser Welding Black Knife combined Asian and Western design elements to create a functional cutting tool. The stainless-steel blade was joined to the body of the knife using a laser welding process. The handle is made of Pakkawood, which lies comfortably in the hand and gives the user supreme control. “The ergonomic design allows for effortless cutting, and the sharp blade made of Damascus steel ensures precise cuts,” said the jury. In addition, the structure is characterised by an interesting contrast between black-anodised and metallic elements.
