Little Elegy

A young girl witnesses the death of a pig while spending the summer at her grandparents’ farm. The experience results in a dramatic change of perspective. She realises the cruelty and violence which surround her. Through the experience she discovers a special ability to empathise and relive deaths of animals and humans as she encounters objects which hold their energy. She fights her nightmares and fears to reconcile with the violent imagery. The viewer sees the story through the eyes of the frightened girl. Fast cutting sequences work to convey her emotions.
