Lou is a contemporary interpretation of the comfortable single lounge chair for commercial and residential use, mounted on a swivelling cross base. It is characterised by the tension between the generous proportions of the seat and armrests, which flow into a slender, upright backrest, and the tightly upholstered body with its soft seat and neck cushions. The elegantly sculpted surfaces of the upholstered body engender a distinct, circumferential contour.

Statement by the Jury

Lou stands out due to its clear aesthetic appearance, which creates original colour highlights with the seat and neck cushions, the latter attached to the top of the backrest.
