Mezzi Master Cultural Centre

This cultural centre, which integrates a bookshop and an exhibition space, has adopted the theme of “staircase” as a metaphor for the acquisition of knowledge through reading. An enormous dark-red sculptural staircase serves as a product display platform encouraging readers to walk to other levels, while also offering seating. The design, with the lower end of each step going slightly inward, conveys a rich, dynamic vibe. Custom-made bookshelves feature as vertical versions of the stairs to match the theme, while white prism-shaped stands in the exhibition area can be arranged in four different ways.
