The Mi Powerline wifi uses the PowerLAN technology with which network data are transported via the power grid. Plugged into a wall socket connected to the PowerLAN, the powerline adapter generates a Wi-Fi signal. In this way, connectivity is provided for rooms which otherwise cannot be reached with Wi-Fi. With its reduced and geometric shape and the matte-white plastic housing, the device conveys an elegant impression and can be mounted to the wall unobtrusively.
