The packaging for the sparkling Japanese sake Mikado Lemon was designed to develop a new market by offering sake with a lemon taste. In order to clearly convey this new flavour, the elegant bottle was decorated with a band featuring the texture of lemon peel. The curved band shows a realistic impression of lemon peel using embossed UV printing, thus conveying natural freshness. The strong colour contrast grabs attention, enables an intuitive understanding of the product benefits, and creates a luxurious look.
