The Shine is a tiny, wireless activity tracker that users can wear anywhere, anytime. The tracker may be synched with a smartphone simply by placing the device on the screen. By tapping the Shine, a halo of lights appears on the device, instantly telling users how far they have come in tracking their daily activity goal. Moreover, proprietary sensor algorithms allow users to track cycling and swimming activities in addition to just counting steps. Made from solid aircraft-grade aluminium, the Shine is waterproof and extremely sturdy.

Statement by the Jury

The elegantly and simply designed Shine catches the eye, especially with its compact size. An ingenious solution is the display consisting of individual light spots, which form a ring with the increasing activity of the wearer.
