MiWand 2 PRO

The MiWand 2 PRO is a mobile scanner powered by two AA batteries. It works without a computer and also functions without software. The scanner simply glides over the surface of a document, and the image is saved on a micro-SD card. The compact device scans with up to 600 dpi in true colour. A preview function shows the images two seconds after the scan. When the scanner is attached to the feeder dock, documents are automatically pulled in and scanned.

Statement by the Jury

The concept of being able to scan documents anytime and anywhere impressed the jury. The device is handy, offers a high degree of mobility and is characterised by ease of use.
