The MLZ-KY air conditioner series was developed for ceiling mounting. The air is discharged horizontally so that draughts are avoided. The units have a flat, compact shape and are ideal for installation wherever space is limited, such as in small rooms, hallways, bathrooms or even closets. “The visual appearance of the units underlines the small space requirement,” the jury noted, “because their housing does without unnecessary divisions between the components and features a calm, matter-of-fact design language.” As a result, the products also harmonise with different furnishing styles.
