“The MoodPlay can be described as a record player that combines the advantages of the analogue and digital world,” noted the jury. “It provides comprehensive audio content and is nevertheless suitable for less tech-savvy people and for families with children.” The device works with MoodBlocks, which are artistically designed smart cards with integrated NFC technology. A MoodBlock is able to hold thousands of songs, as well as albums, playlists and audio books, and can be easily adapted to the user’s preferences via software.
