With the N-Pro Head Guard for rugby players, impact forces can be diminished considerably compared to other head protection. Classified as a non-invasive medical device, the cap consists of viscoelastic materials that reduce the G-force energy transferred to a player’s head during linear and rotational impacts, major factors in sports-induced brain injury. A network of large airflow channels has been integrated into the internal surface of the head guard to improve ventilation and curtail overheating of the player.
