NeoDoppler is an innovative Doppler ultrasound system for constant monitoring of the cerebral blood flow in premature and sick infants. It offers the possibility to immediately detect changes in the cerebral blood flow that can lead to brain damage, enabling medical personnel to intervene in time. The user interface was developed by taking a user-centred and iterative approach, from the wireframes to the final, practice-oriented design. It focuses on relevant information and helps users to identify emergency situations and make quick decisions. Moreover, it features a dark design to give parents a sense of security and have a calming effect on the infant.
