Neo.Kiel – Open Platform for Civic Participation

Only few citizens of the city of Kiel know that they can actively participate in projects from fields such as urban planning, environment, social issues, culture, sports and mobility. Neo.Kiel is an open platform for citizens which offers users all possibilities of contemporary communication and runs on all mobile devices. The projects can be filtered according to topics. Users can “like” projects, share and comment on them as well as upload their own ideas for discussion. In addition, when they come near a place where a project is planned, they receive a message allowing to respond directly.
