NEO’s 2.5 kW electric scooter has been designed as a modern urban mobility solution for the target group of environmentally conscious young city dwellers. It is suitable for sharing systems and fits into zero-emission vehicle fleets. The main drive components of the Yamaha Integrated Power Unit (YIPU) are minimalistically integrated into the wheel hub. The scooter’s appearance is characterised by soft, rounded shapes and minimal front and rear overhangs, emphasising its compact proportions. “NEO’s stands out as a manoeuvrable, easy-to-ride e-scooter and communicates these qualities with its uncomplicated, sporty appearance,” the jury found.
