In the clothing industry, the wastage of fabric scraps is a significant problem. This is why New Pattern presents a concept of how a shirt can be produced without noteworthy waste despite mass production. In addition to an attractive appearance, the shirt design particularly emphasises a pleasant feeling when worn. The shirts are made of organic cotton fabric which is manufactured on shuttle looms in Shizuoka. The traditional weaving technique creates a fabric with a pleasantly airy texture.
