True to its name, the Nianlun Bench exudes a natural charm. The Chinese term for “annual ring” has been translated into a black wooden structure with a green seat cushion featuring cut-outs in the shape of tree discs. The pattern is carved with the five-axis carving process to resemble the annual rings of trees with uncanny realism. The discs also protrude slightly beyond the contour of the bench, serving as a practical surface for holding items.
